Summary

Here is the Holy Grail of success philosophy: Napoleon Hill's complete and original formula to achievement presented in fifteen remarkable principles--now newly designed in a handsome single-volume edition。

This is the master volume of the extraordinary work that began the career of Napoleon Hill。 Originally produced by Hill in 1928 as an eight-book series, The Law of Success is now available to contemporary readers in a single edition, redesigned and reset for ease of reading。

The Law of Success is the golden key to Hill's thought--his complete and unabridged mind-power method for achieving your goals。 After interviewing dozens of industrialists, diplomats, thought leaders, and successful people from all walks of life, the young Hill distilled what he learned into these fifteen core lessons, organized with an introductory chapter, 'The Master Mind,' that serves as a primer to Hill's overall philosophy。

As Hill saw it, these lessons work as a "mind stimulant" that "will cause the student to organize and direct to a DEFINITE end the forces of his or her mind, thus harnessing the stupendous power which most people waste。"

While future classics of Napoleon Hill would inspire millions of readers, there is no substitute for The Law of Success for everyone who wants to grasp the full range of Hill's ideas and tap their transformative power。

Numerous important lessons, notably the one on Accurate thinking (aka the ability to filter info。 If you’re interested in improving this, then also read Principles and look for the concept of believability)。

This is probably the best success advice I've seen。 I prefer it over Think and Grow Rich。There is a bunch of dogma in it, but the success principles fundamentally are super solid。 Don't discount a book like this, just because it has a few racist or other nonsense remarks。 This is probably the best success advice I've seen。 I prefer it over Think and Grow Rich。There is a bunch of dogma in it, but the success principles fundamentally are super solid。 Don't discount a book like this, just because it has a few racist or other nonsense remarks。 。。。more

Read on kindleWonderful read, which was very informative。 Beneficial as it has helped me gain some insight into the attitude you need to possess for success to be within your reach“The most successful men and women on earth have had to correct certain weak spots in their personalities before they began to succeed”Recommend: ✅ (if you like these kinds of books)

The Law of Success in 16 Lessons is an edited version of Napoleon Hill's first manuscript, which was reworked under the advisement of several contributors。 This version was initially published in 1928 as a multi-volume correspondence course。 Later editions consolidated the material into a single hardcover book。 The Law of Success in 16 Lessons is an edited version of Napoleon Hill's first manuscript, which was reworked under the advisement of several contributors。 This version was initially published in 1928 as a multi-volume correspondence course。 Later editions consolidated the material into a single hardcover book。 。。。more

I could never do this book justice with a review。If there was an elite finishing school for men this would be their (extremely) thorough guide。 There are sections that are dated, of course。 It was made a long time ago。 However, pretty much every section has helped my life immeasurably。 Superb。

Skip this and read “Think and Grow Rich” instead。 I have read that one multiple times and it’s a 5 star book。 You get the most important stuff of Law of Success in a more concise and easier to read form。

I first read Hill's all-time famous "Think and Grow Rich" when I was 21。 I had always known about this book, published well before "Think and Grow Rich," and thought it was about time I tackled it。 It is a long read at approximately 858 pages, but each chapter goes into one of the 16 principles of success。 Each chapter spends good time on the principle giving examples from Hill's stories, and other thought leaders of his day and his past like Emerson's "Law on Compensation" in which Hill reflect I first read Hill's all-time famous "Think and Grow Rich" when I was 21。 I had always known about this book, published well before "Think and Grow Rich," and thought it was about time I tackled it。 It is a long read at approximately 858 pages, but each chapter goes into one of the 16 principles of success。 Each chapter spends good time on the principle giving examples from Hill's stories, and other thought leaders of his day and his past like Emerson's "Law on Compensation" in which Hill reflects on throughout the 15 lessons of success。 The 16 Timeless Principles of Success that Hill devotes to this great work are as follows:1。 Master Mind Alliance2。 Having a Definite Chief Aim3。 Self Confidence4。 The Habit of Saving5。 Initiative & Leadership6。 Imagination7。 Enthusiasm8。 Self-Control9。 The Habit of Doing More than Paid For10。 Pleasing Personality11。 Accurate Thought12。 Concentrate13。 Cooperation14。 Profiting by Failure15。 Tolerance16。 Practicing the Golden RuleThe 16th Law of Success, "Practicing the Golden Rule" is like the glue that holds all the other principles together, and I thought it was quite clever that Hill writes it as the last principle of success。 If you want to better understand how to be successful in life and in your relationship with others, then read this book and add it to your success library。 。。。more

There is so much in this book to unpack。 The thing about this book is that there are so many different versions and editions。 Try to find an edition that has not been edited beyond what Hill intended。 But, whatever edition you read, you will be engulfed with incredible information on success。 This takes Think and Grow Rich and builds upon that book's more simplistic ideas。 This is a book you could read 50X and find something new in each reading。 I give this book my highest rating。 There is so much in this book to unpack。 The thing about this book is that there are so many different versions and editions。 Try to find an edition that has not been edited beyond what Hill intended。 But, whatever edition you read, you will be engulfed with incredible information on success。 This takes Think and Grow Rich and builds upon that book's more simplistic ideas。 This is a book you could read 50X and find something new in each reading。 I give this book my highest rating。 。。。more

Oh gawd this was painful。 By chapter 3 the book was still promising wisdom, but just prattled on with vacuous blabbering。 By the time it started talking about how women can help men succeed by encouraging them, I knew the book was too antiquated。There was way too much "this book is supported by scientists", so much so that you know it's trying to sell it to you。 And having trained as a psychologist I don't believe it's showing at all, so it just felt false。I'm sure it's a good starting point for Oh gawd this was painful。 By chapter 3 the book was still promising wisdom, but just prattled on with vacuous blabbering。 By the time it started talking about how women can help men succeed by encouraging them, I knew the book was too antiquated。There was way too much "this book is supported by scientists", so much so that you know it's trying to sell it to you。 And having trained as a psychologist I don't believe it's showing at all, so it just felt false。I'm sure it's a good starting point for someone's first self-help book, but I found nothing particularly interesting and gave up after 4 chapters。 。。。more

I tried to read this book with an open mind, as Hill goes into some pretty whack stuff about 'mind chemistry' and that, and putting that aside there are definitely nuggets of wisdom in the book。 Unfortunately the book was far too long-winded for my liking, and Hill often repeats things which he has already said, sometimes using the exact same wording。 For just about every lesson he also says 'If there's one thing that's the most important thing to suceed, it's this'- for every lesson。 Which one I tried to read this book with an open mind, as Hill goes into some pretty whack stuff about 'mind chemistry' and that, and putting that aside there are definitely nuggets of wisdom in the book。 Unfortunately the book was far too long-winded for my liking, and Hill often repeats things which he has already said, sometimes using the exact same wording。 For just about every lesson he also says 'If there's one thing that's the most important thing to suceed, it's this'- for every lesson。 Which one is it, Hill?
